Job summary

SpartanNash, a food solutions company, is seeking an Associate Engagement Coordinator for Family Fare in Cannon Falls, MN. You will drive the employment life cycle, supporting hiring, orientation, training, safety, compliance, and internal store communications.

You will manage the full recruiting cycle in Workday and own engagement programs, while partnering with HR and leadership to ensure timely onboarding and retention. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College degree or coursework in Business Administration, HR or related area preferred.
• One-year HR administrative support experience or coursework required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and data entry skills; good organization and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruiting in Workday: posting jobs, interviewing, coordinating final interviews, offers and onboarding.
• Set up and conduct store orientation as needed.
• Collaborate with local HR Business Partner to post or add hiring events or resources.
• Manage first 90 days of employment to validate training and drive retention.
• Own store engagement programs including daily/weekly recognition.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written/verbal communication.
• Maintain compliance at store level and handle terminations, I-9s, and scheduling reporting.
• Oversee associate areas in-store for engagement (break rooms, offices, training spaces).
• May serve as Person-In-Charge for portions of weekly schedules.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
