Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store Director for our Marquette, MI location. You will lead a high-performing team, drive store performance, and ensure exceptional customer service while upholding safety, compliance, and merchandising standards.

As a leader, you will develop others, analyze financial data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize sales and profitability in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience.
• 5 years of retail/service industry experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• 3 years of retail leadership experience with General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred.
• Experience leading retail or service operation with $40 million minimum in annual sales revenue.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to maximize sales and fiscal responsibility.
• Mentor and coach team members and leaders to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
• Ensure proper staffing and professional development of team members.
• Maintain corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures for a safe store environment.
• Be a strong community partner to support the Meijer brand.
