Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience.
• 5 years of retail/service industry experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• 3 years of retail leadership with General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred.
• Experience in leading retail or service operation with $40 million minimum in annual sales revenue.
• Ability to receive and maintain licenses required for the store’s operations.
• Position may require lifting, carrying, and other physical acts.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and customer service to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
• Analyze financial data to maximize sales and maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Mentor and coach team members and leaders to achieve goals.
• Ensure proper staffing and develop current team members.
• Maintain corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures.
• Build relationships with the local community to support the Meijer brand.
