Job summary

Sugared-Bronzed is seeking a Store Director to lead daily client interactions, train Team Members, and drive exceptional service in a retail/salon setting. The role balances staffing, scheduling, inventory, and coaching to ensure each client leaves satisfied.

The ideal candidate has prior management experience in beauty retail, a strong growth mindset, and a positive, collaborative approach. This is a full-time on-site leadership role in the NYC area.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience in a retail or salon environment.
• Cosmetology/esthetician experience preferred, but not required.
• Genuine interest in contributing to company growth and success.
• Positive, upbeat attitude that promotes collaboration and productivity.
• Open to flexible, full-time availability to meet business demand.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate and lead new operational initiatives.
• Interview and hire Team Members to meet company standards.
• Perform tanning or sugaring service shifts.
• Manage store-level utilization by monitoring demand, labor trends, and adjusting staffing.
• Develop and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to build a strong well rounded team.
• Maintain inventory levels and place orders as required.
• Ensure compliance with company and State Board cleanliness and organization standards.
• Participate in weekly management calls, providing feedback and celebrating successes.
• Foster a warm, fun, and welcoming environment for Team Members and clients.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Store Director role is the cornerstone of service, and the heart of the client experience. Leading through daily client interactions, comprehensive Team Member training, and a commitment to outstanding service. This role requires a passion for growth, with continuous development of their Team Members while ensuring each client leaves with a smile. By balancing inventory management, scheduling, administrative responsibilities, and ongoing Team Member feedback and coaching. Store Directors create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters both employee growth and excellent service.

• Annual compensation for this position includes a base salary, commission, and quarterly bonus incentives. The bonus program is designed to be realistic and attainable, based both on personal and store performance.

The pay range for this role is:

80,000 - 90,000 USD per year (NY - NYC Metro - Union Square)
