H Mart in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a Store Designer / Jr. Architectural Designer to develop architectural layouts, space plans, and construction documents for new stores and renovations using AutoCAD.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and internal teams to coordinate design requirements, review drawings for accuracy, and support permitting, bidding, and construction coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in architecture, construction, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in architecture, design, engineering, or construction environments.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of architectural drawings, space planning, and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of building codes and coordination across disciplines.
• Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and coordination across multiple teams.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to drive projects to completion.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, or visualization tools is a plus.
• Retail, commercial, hospitality, or large-scale interior projects experience is a plus.
• Experience with project management, construction administration, permitting, or consultant coordination is a plus.
• Korean and English bilingual proficiency is preferred.

Description

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Develop and coordinate architectural layouts, space plans, and construction documents for new store and renovation projects using AutoCAD.

• Review architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Support project planning, permitting, bidding, scheduling, and construction coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits and field verification as needed to evaluate existing conditions and support design development.
• Maintain project drawings, revisions, and documentation while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
• Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, or other visualization tools is a plus.
• Previous experience with retail, commercial, hospitality, or large-scale interior/architectural projects is a plus.
• Experience with project management, construction administration, permitting, or consultant coordination is a strong plus.

*Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
