Job summary

H Mart Headquarters in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking an architectural/engineering professional to analyze drawings, conduct site visits, and prepare bid and procurement packages. You will coordinate permits, manage project documents, and draft CAD/millwork drawings for projects through construction.

The role requires 2–5 years in AEC, US work eligibility, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and MS Office. Bilingual Korean/English is a plus. Regular hours are Mon–Fri, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of full-time experience in AEC industries.
• Eligibility for legal employment in the US.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
• Experience with project management software and document control.
• English fluency; Korean language preferred.

Responsibilities

Description

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Analyze and monitor architectural and engineering drawings and documentation
• Conduct on-site visits to assess and evaluate site conditions and constraints for upcoming projects
• Identify the required types of materials/products and perform precise quantity calculations for procurement process
• Scrutinize and facilitate the coordination of permit and bidding sets
• Skillfully prepare construction bidding packages
• Process project-related payments, encompassing outsourced professional services and general contractors
• Compile and produce refrigeration and equipment packages with attention to detail
• Draft preliminary CAD drawings and millwork detail drawings

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of full-time experience in AEC industries
• Eligibility for legal employment in the US
• Expertise in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools
• Ability to manage a project schedule and documents from design through construction
• Fluent in English, both in verbal and written form
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
