Job summary

REI Co-op is seeking a Store Department Manager (SDM) to coach and motivate store sales teams, driving sales and delivering on REI business and service goals. You’ll lead retail staff and partner with store leadership to create a customer-centric environment.

With 3+ years of retail management experience, you’ll develop people, implement core standards, and communicate company strategies while fostering inclusion and teamwork. This role offers competitive hourly pay in California.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful retail management experience (preferred).
• Ability to communicate and build relationships inside and outside the organization.
• Open to feedback and other viewpoints to support the business.
• Uses business understanding and sound judgment to solve problems.
• Makes solid recommendations using diverse information.

Responsibilities

• Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates responsibilities to team.
