As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and services. No need to be able to tear down engines—though that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is important. This role offers opportunities whether you're aiming for a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, seeking full/part-time work, or exploring other career paths within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members in answering customer questions
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing customer focus and energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming retail customers and ensuring a positive experience
• Utilizing technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical/trade courses a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in parts store, auction, retail, auto body/collision
• Knowledge of inventory management systems or cataloging
• Customer-centric approach
• ASE Certifications
