We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a Counter Sales team member, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and services. You don’t need to be an expert in tearing down engines (though that’s a plus), but a solid background in automotive parts is essential.

What you will do:

1. Assist retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone.
2. Use your automotive knowledge to support team members in customer inquiries.
3. Provide excellent customer service and create positive shopping experiences.
4. Bring energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
5. Engage retail customers to ensure a welcoming environment.
6. Utilize technology, including computers, cash registers, and catalogs.

This opportunity is ideal if you:

1. Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts needs.
2. Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with vehicles.

Requirements:

1. Valid Driver’s License.
2. Experience in a parts store or automotive environment, or willingness to learn.
3. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus.
4. Excellent communication skills.

6. Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Preferred but not essential:

1. Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership work.
2. Experience with inventory management systems or cataloging.
3. Customer-centric mindset.
4. ASE Certifications.
