Join Our Team as a Store Counter Sales at NAPA Auto Parts

We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable individual to serve as a Counter Sales Associate at NAPA Auto Parts. As the 'face of the retail store,' you'll assist customers with their automotive needs, providing excellent customer service and leveraging your automotive parts knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions
• Engaging with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs

Ideal candidates are:

• Passionate about helping customers with auto parts questions
• Experienced in automotive industry or car/truck repair and maintenance
• Eager to learn about automotive parts and industry
• Looking to grow their career in a supportive team environment

Requirements include:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in auto parts or automotive industry preferred, but willingness to learn is key
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting

Additional qualifications that are a plus:

• Background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
• Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (preferred but not required)
