We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the primary contact for customers seeking automotive parts and assistance. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential.

This role offers opportunities to build a career as a Parts Specialist, whether you want full-time or part-time work, or are exploring other career paths within our company. We welcome diverse backgrounds and experiences.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Engaging customers to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Qualifications (Preferred but not required)

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
• Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications
