We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for more great talent to join our NAPA family! As a Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers entering our stores for automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a plus), but having a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full/part-time, or explore other opportunities within our company.

What you will be doing:

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming and engaging retail customers to create positive experiences
• Using technology, cash register, telephone, and catalog systems

What you’ll need:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Enjoy fast-paced retail environments
• Strong listening skills and empathy

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in parts store, auction, retail, auto body/collision
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory systems
• Customer-centric mindset
• ASE Certifications (a plus, not required)
