As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. No need to tear down motors unless you can—knowledge of automotive parts is essential. What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer service in our stores
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced environment
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in auto parts or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical/trade courses a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
• Good listening skills and empathy

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in parts stores, auctions, auto body, or retail
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
