As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the 'face of the retail store' and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. No need to be able to tear down motors—though that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is essential. What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members and answer customer questions
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and creating a positive shopping experience
• Utilizing technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalog systems

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Enjoy fast-paced retail environments
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus)

• Passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership industries
• Experience in retail, auto body, or collision shops
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory systems
• Customer-centric mindset
• ASE Certifications
