As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is essential. This role is a great opportunity whether you're looking to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full/part-time, or explore other career paths within our company. We welcome all applicants!

What You Will Be Doing

1. Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
2. Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
3. Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions.
4. Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
5. Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
6. Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalog systems.

What You’ll Need

6. Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Additional Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus)

1. Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership.
2. Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems.

4. ASE Certifications.
