We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers entering our stores for their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines, but a background and knowledge of automotive parts is helpful. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths with us. We welcome you!

What You Will Be Doing

1. Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
2. Assist other NAPA team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
3. Deliver outstanding customer service and interactions.
4. Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores.
5. Welcome retail customers and engage to provide a positive experience.
6. Use technology (computer, cash register, telephone, paper catalog system).

What You’ll Need

1. Valid Driver’s License.
2. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
3. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Enjoy fast-paced retail environments.
6. Great listening skills and empathy for customers.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

1. Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
2. Experience in a parts store, auction, retail, or auto body/collision.
3. Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems.
4. Customer-centric attitude.
5. ASE Certifications (a plus).
