We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and services. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines—although that’s a plus—but having a background in automotive parts is important. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within the company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members with customer questions
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing customer focus and energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Preferences

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
• Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (preferred but not required)
