About the role:
We are looking for an outgoing, highly organized, and detail-oriented Guest Relations Concierge to serve as the face and voice of our boutique. In this key role, you will be the first point of contact for every gest who walks through our doors or calls our shop.
You will set the tone for the entire visit by delivering a warm welcome, clearly guiding the guests through our store policies and shopping process, managing customer check-ins, and keeping our front-of-house operations running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Warm Welcome & Check-In: Greeting every guest with enthusiasm, managing the check-in process, and introducing clients to our stores shopping flow and guidelines.
- 2. Policy and Process Direction: Clearly and politely explaining store guidelines, appointment procedures, dress-handling guidelines, and layaway/ordering policies to maintain an organized shopping environment.
- 3. Phone & Digital Communication: Managing incoming calls with top-tier phone etiquette, answering inquires, and sending client messages/invitations through our software system.
- 4. Technology & System Management: Comfortably navigating our point-of-sale and appointment management software to check in clients, update customer accounts, and schedule appointments.
- 5. Multitasking & Front Desk Operations: Balancing walk-in arrivals, phone calls, and check-in queues efficiently during high volume hours while maintaining a polished calm demeanor.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide high-quality concierge services, including greeting guests, managing appointments, and supporting store events.
- Experience handling reservations and scheduling systems to coordinate customer visits and fittings efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Experience with receptionist duties such as answering phones, directing inquiries, and managing front desk operations.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, patience, and problem-solving in a retail or hospitality environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a neat store environment and accurate records of appointments and orders.
- Comfort working on-site, standing for extended periods, and assisting with light merchandising or gown handling as needed.
- Prior experience in fashion, formal wear, retail, or hospitality is beneficial but not required.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling, email, and point-of-sale systems; ability to learn new tools and procedures quickly.
- Reliable transportation to the Benson, NC location and availability to work weekends and peak event seasons.
