Responsibilities

• Do not supervise associates on a regular basis.
• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Assume total store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Direct responsibility of Grocery and General Merchandise departments, including sales, gross profit, shrink, payroll, CTO.
• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day management of all store departments (F.D.S., Payroll, Sales, Profitability, Merchandising, Cash Controls, Operating Expenses, Human Resources).
• Coordinate wage/hour policies, staffing, and training programs; ensure compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.
• Monitor associate evaluation processes and dress code compliance.
• Control expenses and implement cost-saving measures as per policy.
