The Salvation Army Southern Territory is seeking a part-time store associate at our TX-Orange location. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, and help organize merchandise to support smooth store operations.

Responsibilities include sorting donated items, tagging according to guidelines, and maintaining a clean, welcoming sales floor. Prior retail experience is preferred, and you will work 29 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a retail or warehouse setting preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and perform basic math.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

• Price and tag items based on established guidelines.
• Hang and rack clothes, box items, and maintain inventory flow.
• Operate cash register, handle sales, count change, issue receipts.
• Prepare purchased items for bagging and maintain register accuracy.
• Answer the phone and provide store information.
• Maintain tidy appearance of the store and sorting room.
• Clean display shelves, floors, mirrors, and windows.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: TX-Orange TS - Orange, TX 77630, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $10.00, Job Category: Store, Schedule/Hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM(29 hours per week)

This position is responsible for:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Qualifications
