Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a part-time associate to sort and price donated items, assist customers with donations and purchases, and maintain the cleanliness of the store and sorting room. You will operate the cash register and handle basic math for transactions.

Requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and at least one year of retail or warehouse experience preferred. Part-time benefits include PTO and insurance options.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year retail or warehouse experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Sorting Room Responsibilities (35%): sort, price, and prep donated items for display according to standards.
• Customer Service Responsibilities (35%): assist customers with donations, selections, and purchases; respond to questions.
• Store & Sorting Room Cleanliness (30%): maintain orderliness and cleanliness in store and sorting room areas; operate cash register.

Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store; determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and sorting room area; assists store customers in donating, selecting and purchasing store items; operates and maintains a cash register; responds to customer questions.Key Responsibilities:Sorting Room Responsibilities (35%)Customer Service Responsibilities (35%)Store and Sorting Room Orderliness and Cleanliness Responsibilities (30%)Physical Requirements:Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively.Ability to operate a cash register, perform routine mathematical computations and count change.Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.Duties are usually performed standing. Standing may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.Moderate physical effort required associated with sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).Working Conditions:Work is sometimes performed in a normal store where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
