Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring a store associate for LA-TORRANCE, CA to maintain cleanliness, assist customers, and support store operations. You will clean floors, manage trash, and ensure products are stocked and displayed to uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities include cash handling, enrolling customers in rewards programs, and assisting with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS). Evening/weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver brand promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors and clean assigned areas with approved materials.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and place items back correctly.
• Deep clean key areas (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways) as needed.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs and assist with stocking and planograms.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and truck unloading.
