Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a Store Team Member to provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will handle checkouts, engage customers about rewards, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

You’ll also participate in stocking, truck unloading, and planogram tasks, while following SOPs and safety procedures. The role requires standing, lifting, nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Assist customers, enroll them in Rewards programs, and support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Stock shelves, participate in truck unloads, planograms, and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs, company policies, and maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
