Job summary

Michaels in Buford, GA is seeking a Store Cleaning Associate to maintain cleanliness and deliver friendly customer service while helping customers find what they need. You will perform housekeeping tasks, assist with checkout, participate in BOPIS/SFS processes, stock products, and support safety programs in a busy retail environment.

The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift items.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Physical ability to move around the store, lift items and perform cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them where appropriate.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and Ship from Store).
• Help with truck unloading, stocking and planogram maintenance.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies.
