Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking an Associate / Cashier (PT) to greet customers, operate the register and support store operations at our Northeast location.

The role requires open weekend/holiday availability, ability to stand long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to friendly, efficient service. You will help maintain cleanliness and inventory accuracy while contributing to sales growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to stay prolonged periods of time standing and walking throughout the retail space.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operate cash register, promote sales and maintain cash control.
• Clean, stock and maintain checkout area and store spaces.
• Maintain exterior areas and pump islands; monitor fuel tanks.
• Support team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Follow safety policies and uniform standards.
