Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a part-time Associate / Cashier to greet customers, operate the cash register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment. The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate cash handling, and teamwork across shifts.

Weekend availability is required with varying hours. Applicants should be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED preferred, and be able to stand for long periods while occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to stay standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Operate cash register, promote sales, and maintain cash control.
• Clean, stock and maintain checkout area, displays, and store spaces.
• Clean and stock external areas such as sidewalks, drives, and pump islands.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Perform duties safely and follow safety policies and uniform standards.
