Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking an Associate/Cashier to support daily store operations and ensure customer satisfaction while processing transactions and maintaining cleanliness.

The Cashier/Associate will greet customers, operate the register, promote sales, and help with inventory control, safety, and general upkeep of the store, fuel islands, and surrounding areas. Open availability and a friendly, reliable attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability for weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in a friendly manner.
• Operate cash register and manage cash/inventory per guidelines.
• Clean and stock checkout area and fixtures.
• Maintain exterior areas and fuel islands as required.
• Participate in team efforts to meet store goals.
• Follow safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
