Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area is seeking a Store Associate to help deliver outstanding customer service, stock shelves, assist with donations and ensure a welcoming store environment. You will engage customers, process transactions, and support team operations across sales floor and backroom tasks.

As part of a community-focused nonprofit, you will participate in training, follow safety policies, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to handle customers with courtesy and professionalism.
• Comfort with physical tasks such as stocking and assisting with loading/unloading of items.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions to assist shoppers.
• Assist in loading and unloading Goodwill trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized store floor and production area.
• Support opening and closing procedures and ensure security of assets and donations.
