Position: Assistant Store Manager

As an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Store Manager, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Partnering with the Store Manager in daily store operations.
  • Managing store activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Providing coaching, training, and development to store employees.
  • Maintaining good relations with customers, donors, and the community; resolving complaints efficiently.
  • Communicating personnel issues to management; issuing disciplinary warnings, employee evaluations, and setting goals in coordination with HR and District Sales Manager.
  • Maintaining store standards, inventory levels, and ensuring effective back room processing in absence of the Store Manager.
  • Safeguarding cash, managing banking procedures, and ensuring safety measures are followed.
  • Implementing loss prevention strategies.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in POS and cash handling.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to pass background checks.
  • Effective communication skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects.
  • Ability to move products up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Schedule:

Stores operate 7 days a week. Flexibility is required to ensure adequate coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for full-time staff.
