Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (A&F Co.) is seeking an Assistant Manager in New York to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service daily.

You’ll supervise the sales floor and stockroom, manage opening/closing routines, and develop non-management staff through coaching and training in a fast-paced fashion retail setting. With a promote-from-within philosophy, this role focuses on team building, merchandising, and brand representation to grow into future leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and exemplify Company Culture and Values.
