Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lincoln Park, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help supervise daily tasks, organize merchandise, and ensure the store meets company standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling tasks, loss prevention, and coaching store associates to provide exceptional service while maintaining a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and safe environment.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates under the Store Manager.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and professional atmosphere for customers and staff.
