GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our busy convenience store in South Windsor, CT. You’ll lead daily operations, support the Store Manager, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer service.

This role requires open availability, weekend and holiday shifts, and a focus on leadership development with weekly pay, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits to grow toward store management.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coach a team.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Run register and help customers quickly and accurately.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell and deliver great service.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing staff.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is absent.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock optimal.
