The role involves maintaining the "Peace, love, and ice cream" culture, greeting customers, offering samples, and demonstrating store pride.

* Follow all food safety rules, including dress code and food storage.

* Use POS system and handle cash transactions.

* Be available late summer nights (past 11 pm) and weekends, including some holidays.

* Monitor labor and cost of goods to control expenses.

* Be accountable for increasing sales and reducing costs.

Benefits include a weekly salary of $920-$950.

Catering Operations Role:

• Manage daily catering operations from the Providence scoop shop, ensuring success and growth.
• Bring innovative ideas to expand the business; work independently or as part of a team.
• Train staff on customer service, cleanliness, and operational procedures.
• Prepare for events and oversee their execution to ensure quality service.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages growth and advancement.
• Oversee catering policies, equipment, and staff presentation to maintain high standards.
• Be prepared to work outdoors and lift or move objects up to 25 lbs.

Requirements:

• Work under the District Manager & Scoop Shop Manager to manage shop operations and budgets, including sales, margins, payroll, expenses, and inventory.
• Manage a team of 10 to 15 employees.
• Train, orient, and develop shop staff.
• Create a motivating work environment that encourages employee involvement and supports career growth.
• Implement shop policies and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions as per the Operating System Manual.
• Manage procurement and storage of inventory, including ordering and receiving deliveries.
• Support in-store marketing plans and local store marketing efforts.
• Maintain store and staff appearance, customer service, cleanliness, safety standards, merchandising, and promotions.
• Oversee cake program operations, including orders, equipment, customer communication, and cake decoration.
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and suppliers for smooth operations.
• Handle customer complaints promptly.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely.
