Responsibilities

• Maintain the "Peace, love and ice cream" culture by greeting customers, offering samples, and demonstrating store pride.
• Follow all food safety rules, including dress code and food storage.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions.
• Availability during late summer nights (past 11 pm), weekends, and some holidays.
• Manage labor and cost of goods effectively to drive sales and minimize costs.

Assistant Catering Operations

• Oversee daily catering operations from the Riverwalk Scoop Shop, with a creative approach to business growth and a positive attitude.
• Manage retail operations of the catering business, including planning, equipment maintenance, marketing, and customer satisfaction, potentially supporting other territories like Florida and Connecticut.
• Implement and ensure compliance with franchise systems (e.g., Square, Salesforce).
• Train catering staff on daily operations, customer relations, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Support event preparation, attend events, motivate staff, and ensure proper presentation and portion control.
• Lead and supervise catering policies, staff appearance, customer service, safety, merchandising, and promotions.

Store Manager Requirements

• Have an infectious smile and a sense of urgency.
• Love making people happy and providing excellent service.
• Capable of working 6-8 hours on your feet and lifting at least 20 lbs.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Possess at least 2 years of retail food experience and understanding of small business operations.
• Honest, with integrity and a willingness to grow within our network.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Tech-savvy and proficient with social media and paperwork.
