Ocean State Job Lot in Westerly, RI seeks a Store Area Team Leader to supervise multiple store zones, drive merchandising standards, and lead a team to deliver efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

You will oversee freight flow, backroom organization, and inventory, coach associates, recruit and develop talent, and ensure adherence to company policies while using our technology tools to maximize performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of previous retail management experience.
• Proficient in Google suite (Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets).
• Experience with HCM and BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store areas to uphold merchandising standards.
• Oversee freight flow and backroom organization for efficiency and turnaround.
• Oversee inventory to maintain optimal levels and accurate receiving.
• Coach and develop store associates; support recruitment and onboarding.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain store cleanliness and customer service excellence.
