Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Storage Solutions Architect to guide US DoW and Federal Civilian Government customers in data storage architectures and best practices. You will serve as a storage SME, enabling large-scale customer use cases and contributing to field enablement materials for the broader SA population.

Responsibilities include presenting to customers, shaping storage service roadmaps, and partnering with Storage Sales to migrate complex workloads to AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or systems engineering.
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Enable the AWS SA community to design cost-optimized, secure, scalable storage architectures.
• Help AWS customers adopt well-architected storage solutions.
• Build technical trusted advisor relationships with internal and external customers.
• Refine best practices around storage services and solutions.
• Influence service roadmaps by identifying customer trends.
