Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Storage Solutions Architect to guide US DoW and Federal Civilian Government customers in data storage best practices and cost optimization. You will lead architectures using AWS storage services to improve availability and reduce costs.

As an SME, you will present to customers and AWS teams, create enablement materials, and partner with the Storage Sales Specialist to enable large-scale use cases while shaping the future of our storage services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (cloud, systems, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design/consulting on applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software/internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Enable design of cost-optimized, secure, scalable storage architectures.
• Help customers adopt well-architected storage solutions.
• Build technical trusted advisor relationships with customers.
• Refine best practices around storage services and solutions.
• Influence service roadmaps by identifying customer trends.
• Collaborate with service teams on launches of new features and services.
