Job summary

West Coast Self Storage Careers is seeking a motivated team member to join our Palm Desert location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, assessing storage needs, and guiding customers through the leasing process.

You will manage pricing, promotions, and cash handling while maintaining clean, safe, and organized facilities. Applicants should be comfortable working Tue-Sat, with weekends and some holidays required.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and cash handling experience required.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing storage needs (in person, phone, web).
• Create store plan to hit monthly and annual budgets.
• Web pricing and discount management.
• Maintain property to Clean & Operational standards (vacuum, sweep, mop, bulbs).
• Manage Vendors and CapEx projects.
• Drive auction process for units.
• Show available units and guide customers through leasing.
• Balance cash drawer and petty cash.
• Other duties assigned by leadership.
