Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company in Oakland is seeking an Expert Storage Product Owner to guide Agile teams in delivering secure, scalable on-premises and cloud storage solutions.

You will translate strategy into a clear roadmap, manage KPIs, and collaborate with business, engineering, operations, cyber, and product stakeholders to maximize value across enterprise technology initiatives. This role is hybrid with 1-2 days on-site at Oakland HQ.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a Product Owner.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
• AWS Certified/Azure Fundamentals or equivalent cloud certification.
• Knowledge of Agile software development principles and practices.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
• Experience with BPD planning or related business planning processes.
• Experience with storage technologies and data protection/ransomware.
• Willingness to contribute beyond defined role responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum teams as the Product Owner and align priorities with product strategy and delivery.
• Provide vision and direction to Agile teams and stakeholders through project lifecycles.
• Maintain a healthy backlog and prioritize work for the delivery team.
• Lead release planning and set expectations for new functionality.
• Develop storage, data protection, and ransomware roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
• Manage contracts and licenses with stakeholders and vendors.
• Define, measure, and report KPIs for the storage platform.
• Support collaboration between business, product, and engineering teams.
