Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 5 years of Product Owner experience.
• Desired: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Desired: 5 years as Product Owner in Agile.
• Desired: Certifications: Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile.
• Knowledge of Agile methods and stakeholder influence.
• Experience with storage technologies (PowerMax, Unity, Isilon, PowerVault).

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum teams as the Product Owner, aligning business priorities, product strategy, and delivery.
• Provide vision and guidance to Agile teams and stakeholders throughout lifecycles.
• Maintain a healthy backlog prioritized for delivery teams.
• Lead release planning and set expectations for new functionality.
• Articulate product value by understanding business pain points and outcomes.
• Communicate with executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
• Bridge business, product, and engineering teams to align planning and delivery.
• Support BPD planning and align it with delivery outcomes.
• Develop plans and teams to introduce new storage technologies.
• Evaluate emerging storage products and technologies.
• Develop strategies to reduce storage debt and communicate updates.
• Lead asset management for storage inventory.
• Develop roadmaps for storage, data protection, and ransomware products.
• Partner with stakeholders to manage contracts and licenses.
• Define and report KPIs for the storage platform.
• Serve as backup for Data Protection/Ransomware Product Owner.
