Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Storage Deployment Manager to lead a team of storage engineers. You will own the full deployment lifecycle from design and procurement to rack-and-stack, configuration, and ongoing health across on-prem data centers and cloud providers.

You’ll drive automation, capacity planning, and vendor relationships to ensure scalable, reliable storage for NVIDIA’s workloads. Require 12+ years in large-scale storage, deep experience with multiple storage vendors, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Storage Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in large-scale storage architecture, operations, or production engineering.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise storage: NVMe-oF, NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3-compatible, Lustre/GPFS.
• Hands-on with multiple major vendors: NetApp, Pure Storage, Cloudian, DDN.

Responsibilities

• Lead petabyte-scale storage deployments across on-prem data centers and major CSPs.
• Engineer and maintain automation pipelines; integrate with CMDB and observability stacks.
• Drive data center efficiency; optimize power, density, and rack usage.
• Build self-service tools and dashboards for capacity, usage, and growth.
• Coordinate with networking, compute, and CSP teams for capacity planning.
• Manage vendor relationships and lead hardware refresh and EOL cycles.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a storage deployment team; define standards and playbooks.
• Partner with security to evaluate new storage tech and production standards.
• Own full lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning and secure data destruction.
• Define data lifecycle policies with stakeholders to reduce cost and improve storage efficiency.
