Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Storage Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable storage infrastructure powering NVIDIA’s EDA FARM and AI/ML workflows. Lead multi-vendor deployments (NetApp, Pure, Cloudian, DDN), automate with Ansible/Terraform, and integrate with CMDB and observability stacks.

You will own the full lifecycle of storage estates, build self-service tooling, and drive capacity planning, firmware management, and performance tuning in a hybrid on-site environment in

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on storage engineering in large-scale production environments.
• Deep knowledge of at least three storage platforms (ONTAP, FlashArray/FlashBlade, Cloudian, DDN).
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python or Go.
• Experience building IaC and automation for storage platforms (Ansible, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of storage systems across multiple platforms.
• Define and enforce configuration standards and runbooks for all platforms.
• Design and implement IaC frameworks for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for storage configuration deployments.
• Develop integrations between storage platforms and CMDB/observability.
• Manage day-2 operations including capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with chip design, software, and research teams to deliver storage solutions.
• Promote GitOps practices for storage configurations.
