Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Storage Deployment Manager in Santa Clara to lead a team of storage engineers and own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle across on-prem data centers and major cloud service providers. You will design, procure, rack, configure, and hand off storage deployments while driving automation, observability, and capacity planning at scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in large-scale storage architecture, operations or infra.
• 6+ years in people management or technical leadership in storage.
• Deep knowledge of block, file, object, and parallel file systems.
• Hands-on with multiple major storage vendors and appliances.
• Strong understanding of storage hardware, controllers, and networking.
• Experience with observability tooling and automated provisioning at scale.
• Proven track record managing 100 PB+ storage environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead petabyte-scale storage deployments across on-prem and CSPs.
• Own end-to-end deployment lifecycle from design to production hand-off.
• Develop automation pipelines integrating CMDB, config mgmt, and observability.
• Drive data center efficiency, power optimization, and dense hardware planning.
• Create self-service tools and dashboards for capacity and growth.
• Manage vendor relationships and hardware refresh cycles.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a storage deployment team.
• Collaborate with architecture and security for new storage tech and POCs.
• Ensure compliance, auditability, and zero data loss across the lifecycle.
