Job summary

Coldspring is hiring a Production Floater for a full-time, hourly position on the second shift (3pm–11:30pm) with overtime as needed. A $2.00 shift differential applies to second shift and a comprehensive benefits package is offered to full-time employees.

The role operates a range of machines including saws, Mausoleum assembly lines, finishing/sanding, epoxy applicator, and more. Candidates will read tickets, inspect stone quality, and program basic tooling while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• General computer skills.
• Able to read work orders and production tickets.
• Able to read imperial and metric measurements.
• Strong color perception and not color blind.

Responsibilities

• Inspect stone for quality per tickets and specs.
• Read production tickets to determine work.
• Review work at each production step to ensure ticket specs.
• Set up and operate machines including saws, mills, and finishing lines.
• Use cranes to load/unload material and load profiles from the network.
• Record work in JDE system and apply proper finishing techniques.
