Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience running machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical skills related to equipment maintenance.
• Ability to drive production according to a set schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and demonstrate mastery of one or more machines; cross-trained on multiple machines as applicable.
• Inspect slabs for defects and ensure cuts are accurate.
• Polish and cut stone and edges to specifications.
• Apply increasing knowledge of materials and stone characteristics to ensure quality output.
• Perform machine operations and maintenance with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Support workflow and production schedules as required.
• Provide guidance or mentoring to other operators as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
