You will operate, maintain, and optimize fabrication machinery to produce precise stone cuts and polished surfaces, supporting production schedules and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year machine operation experience, and strong mechanical and communication skills.

Overview

The Machine Operator operates machinery in the fabrication shop, maintaining and servicing equipment according to established protocols. The role supports production schedules and aims to ensure quality output in stone fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and demonstrate mastery of one or more machines; cross-train on multiple machines as applicable
• Inspect slabs for defects and ensure cuts are accurate
• Polish and cut stone and edges to specifications
• Apply knowledge of materials and stone characteristics to ensure quality output
• Perform machine operations and maintenance with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
