Job summary

KimCo Design and Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Stockroom Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy and oversee receiving, kitting, stocking of components, and stockroom staff. You will supervise daily activities, manage parts flow to production, and ensure timely kit preparation and material releases.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and collaboration with purchasing and production teams, with a focus on cycle counts and end-of-month adjustments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently, multi-task, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Perform key results areas with minimal supervision and without safety risk.
• Keep the stockroom clean and orderly at all times.
• Work in a team with buying, production and other personnel.
• Supervisor or manager experience.
• Excel and Word experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stockroom employees, assign daily activities and perform supervisor duties.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Kit parts for jobs and ensure timely delivery to wireroom/production.
• Maintain shelving and proper storage of all parts.
• Ensure parts are put away promptly and issued to jobs on time.
• Conduct cycle counts weekly or bi-monthly and adjust records.
• Provide shortages updates to buyers and support production with shortages.
• Lead year-end inventory counts and month-end adjustments.
• Run daily stockroom production schedules and pull inventory to shipping as needed.
• Communicate changes and provide training to stockroom team; attend supervisor meetings.
