Job summary

Ross Dress For Less is seeking a Store Area Supervisor to lead a defined department area and oversee store operations when the Manager on Duty is away. You will supervise associates, ensure a safe shopping environment, and uphold presentation standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, controlling loss, coaching cashiers, and supporting merchandising and stockroom tasks. Evening and weekend availability is preferred in this retail role.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proven supervisory experience in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of store operations and frontline leadership.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain safe, secure, and welcoming shopping environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean facilities.
• Lead Front End operations and cashier training to minimize wait times.
• Perform payroll and administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
