Job summary

Jabil Stockroom operations require careful coordination of material movements to support production schedules. The role entails RF-based ERP transactions, operation of material handling equipment, and maintaining organized bin management with FIFO discipline.

You will execute replenishment movements, return unused materials, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting safe, efficient warehouse workflow.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC including Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with few variables.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of material to the necessary manufacturing areas to support production schedules.
• Physically and systematically execute material movements requiring replenishment to manufacturing areas.
• Execute material movements to areas outside manufacturing (shipping, parts prep, office personnel, etc.).
• Utilize RF scanners for ERP transactions.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain organization of Bin Management and FIFO maintenance.
• Return unused materials to stockroom from manufacturing areas using RF.
• Dispose scrap components properly.
• Pull material for purges from stock as needed.
• Perform Warehouse Cycle-counts where appropriate.
• Verify material movements and paperwork for correct physical and system movement of material.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
