Job summary

Jabil in Memphis, TN is seeking a Material Handler II to coordinate and execute complex material movements, inventory control, and material flow to support manufacturing operations. You will use ERP systems, RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to receive, store, replenish, transfer, and issue materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and traceability.

The position requires a minimum of three years in material handling, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing support.
• Experience working within ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Experience utilizing RF scanners (RF guns) for inventory transactions and warehouse operations.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience required; certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, reconciliation, and material traceability.
• Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory management systems and MS Office.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material movements between receiving, warehouse, stockroom, production, and shipping areas.
• Perform and verify inventory transactions in ERP systems using RF scanners to maintain accuracy.
• Support production through timely material staging, line-side replenishment, and return-to-stock activities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and material shortages.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory integrity.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory organization with FIFO and proper bin management.
